Valravn padded through the Legion. He was thinking, worried about Perses. The man had been quiet and seemed to be gone more often. It didn't take a blind man to see that the numbers were dwindling. He couldn't remember the last time he had seen Kenya, Rynumen, or Bulf. He was worried but hoped it would all work out. With their leaders at the helm, he knew that they would work out.

Pualani was off on her own. But the grimm had no need to worry. The girl was well-behaved and in all honesty, she could use some friends. So the man was cleaning out the den and doing other things around the home. He was busy trying to sweep the dust out with a "brush" of reeds. He needed to get rid of that pelt. It was raggedy. He stopped when the sun was high in the sky and began to consider if he should see if he could ask Perses to join him on a hunting trip or scavenge a pelt. He sat outside of the den in the sun.

What to do? What to do? They could bring some toys for the kids. Maybe some bones or pretty rocks. Maybe even some pelts.

Ana was just returning from a walk around Legion territory. Sergey, her Spirianima was resting on her back in his usual position, between her shoulders. His wings were tucked up around him and his eyes were partially closed, obliviously enjoying the ride he was getting. Over time, Ana and the little bat were slowly becoming use to each other and though neither would admit it. Not to themselves, each other or anyone else.

As Ana entered the Legion's camp, her eyes moved over towards the shared den. It was getting crowded and she was beginning to wonder if she should take on a den of her own to give space to the two males and Perses adopted child, Pulani. Catching sight of Valvarn, Ana made her way over to him and would attempt to touch her nose to his shoulder in greeting. If the touch was successful - Chill would activate for the second time, attempting to send dread into the male - however being only the second time it would still be weak and falter quickly.

"Hello Valvarn." she would say as she sat down and wrapped her tail over her paws. Her blue eyes resting on him before turning towards the den that they shared. "What are you thinking? Sergey's voice rang in her head.

Perhaps we should get our own den." was her telepathic response to him. "Are you cleaning? she asked Val.

Valravn had been feeling tired after all of this work. He wondered if there was some kind of magic he could use to help him with this. With that thought, Flourish activated for the first time to try to make a clump of moss grow. It didn't quite work but the patch of moss did look bigger. Strange.

The Grimm's attention turned to Anastasia as she came over. As she touched him, he noticed a feeling of dread wash over him. He could guess it was the same chilling touch he had used before. It was interesting to be on the recieving end.

"Hello Anastasia," the hellhound greeted as he attempted touch the top of her head with his muzzle in greeting. She sat down and then asked if he was cleaning. He confirmed with a nod. He sat down as well. It would be good to speak with her.

"Is everything well?" The beast rumbled. He needed to speak with her more. Though as one of the only two Commoners of the Legion, his work was cut out for him. And Perses was busy with his leading duties. Valravn couldn't fault him for that and hoped he could help with their two daughters.

Ana allowed for the touch on her head and let her gaze travel around the den. She took a deep breath and looked back to Val. Her blue gaze calm. "I'm well, how are you.? she asked before noticing Sergey flying off of her back. "Ah, I do not believe I have introduced you to my.. um... friend." she nodded to Sergey, who was now on the ground at her paws and peering upwards at the skull faced wolf.

"His name is Sergey. she said giving the bat a look, which he returned with a similar one. Turning her head back to Val she gave a faint smile, should she bring up changing dens now? or wait? Shaking her head from side to side she cleared her throat. "Where's Pualani? Perses?" she asked her Uncle.

Valravn hoped that everything was alright and it was. That was good for him as he was trying to hold this all together because Perses had been very peroccupied lately. Even more so than usual. Though Valravn had no idea how to run a realm so for all he knew, this could be normal. All the beast could do was hope that he could help out somehow. And that was what he was doing. Helping Perses by helping care for their little family.

The Grimm's attention was pulled to the little bat. "It's nice to meet you, Sergey," the wolf said. He was unsure if this bat was like the raven Perses had lost or the new companion -- a blackbird -- that he had gained. But it was nice that Anastasia had a friend. He was happy for her. He wondered if she had any other magic.

Then, the tigress asked where the other family members were. He took a moment to thing. "I believe Perses is doing his leader duties." That was really all the skull-faced wolf could say. He assumed it was true but for all he knew, Perses could be doing non-leader duties. Though he wasn't quite sure what counted as a leader duty. Hunting could count if the wolf was hunting.

"Pualani is probably wandering around here somewhere."

He paused. "Did you want to see them?"

Sergey tilted his head. "Hello other wolf, good to meet a friend of my summoned creature" he said, patting Ana's front left paw. Ana frowned at the bat but didn't comment on his words and kept her attention on Val.

Perses, it seemed, was busy - like always it appeared.. Did he ever rest and her sister? was it her sister? or was she(Pualani) the daughter of Perses and she(Ana) just a ward? was off doing something else.. It was confusing.. How did it work. Ana shook her head "No need, I was just asking where they were. I haven't seen Perses in a while and don't come across Pualani very often." was her comment as she shrugged her shoulders.

"I would like to see Pualiani, I like her. She is sweet and curious and not like this nasty and cold hearted beast here." he said with a nod towards Ana. "Better to be cold hearted then to not have a heart at all. she replied to Sergey with a scathing look.

Sergey grinned up at her and patted her paw again. Ana rolled her eyes and looked towards Val. "The den seems smaller than before.. Perhaps because I am bigger now." she commented, steering the topic away from Pualani and Perses.

Valravn fought back the urge to chuckle at the bat's words. Sergey really was a character, wasn't he? He smiled.

And then Anastasia noted Perses's absence. "Yeah, he's been busy with his duties. I don’t see him that often either." He paused. "But he's the Legion's Lord and that comes with a lot of responsibilities. I know he wishes he could be around more often. But he's keeping us and our realm safe." Valravn assumed that that was case eith Perses. He knew nothing of running a realm and noted that he hadn't come across Akeela in a while.

"Akeldama always said, 'Heavy is the head that leads the pack' and I think Perses and Queen Kallisto may be the only ones leading since I haven't seen Queen Akeela in a while. Have you?"

"Pualani has been exploring Legion lands, I guess." he said with a shrug in response to her words.

Valravn was shocked to hear Sergey's words. "Sergey! You shouldn't call Anastasia that! You must apolpgize to her. You are her Companion and should be kinder to your summoner."

Anastasia spoke her observation. "Perhaps but our home has gotten fuller." The beast realized how Perses had always been gone.
