Flaw
Description

Anosmia
Your character cannot smell. Be cautious, however, as this means they will not recognize borders and could accidentally trespass -- leading to high risk situations. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Asthma
Allergens, common cold or even other triggers like exercise or stress can cause the airways or the tubes that carry air to the lungs to become narrow and inflamed. Your character will be coughing and panting during inhalation with an uncomfortable tightening of the chest. This often prevents them from doing vital tasks such as practice sparring, hunting, running, and more.

Blind
Your character is fully blind (they cannot see light or colors). Even if this flaw is not taken upon character creation, it may be taken if the character becomes permanently blind on site.

Chivalrous
Your character does not fight women, whether due to a vow or natural inclination. If challenged by a woman, they will refuse to fight or will flee -- unless the spar is for maim or death. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Clumsy
Your character is prone to mistakes and injuries and this is reflected in their hunts and forages. All hunts and forages will get 2 rolls for injuries and they MUST take the greater injury. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Coward
Your character is incapable of fighting even to defend themselves in normal situations. They will always submit or flee unless the spar type is for maim or death. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Deaf
Your character cannot hear. Even if this flaw is not taken upon character creation, it may be taken if the character becomes permanently deaf on site.

Frail
Your character is physically weak and delicate. As such, they take worse injuries from physical attacks. Even if this feat is not taken upon creation, it may be taken if a character turns 7+ years old (though it is not necessary).

Headstrong
Your character is headstrong and stubborn; they absolutely cannot run from a spar once challenged to one or once they issue a spar challenge. They will fight to their last breath unless they are outnumbered. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Inattentive
Your character is particularly unaware of their surroundings. They will never be able to tell if someone is silently sneaking up on them (unless they do so with magic). This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Infertility
Your character is incapable of having babes successfully without the use of a 300 AP hybrid. Females with this will never experience pregnancy. This flaw should be taken upon character creation, upon your character becoming too old to naturally reproduce, or upon your character being maimed and rendered incapable of reproduction.

Low Fertility
Though average characters have a 50/50 chance of success after copulation, your character only has a 30% chance of success. If they roll anything besides a 2 or 4, they will not succeed. You must inform staff you have this flaw when requesting for a pregnancy roll. Breeding upgrades will not negate this flaw. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Masochist
Your character loves pain inflicted upon them by others. This will often lead to poor decision making in battle. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Mental Illness
Your character suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Schizophrenia, Clinical Depression, Bipolar Disorder (Manic-Depressive Illness), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Antisocial Personality Disorder (sociopathy). Each mental illness is unique and should be researched. Furthermore, if your character has one of these, it should be stated in their profile and then explained (in detail) how it affects their daily lives. This flaw must be taken upon character creation (with the exception of Clinical Depression, which can be situational) and PTSD (which can developed from traumatic events).

Merciful
Your character is incapable of condoning killing or participating in it. They will almost always speak out against violence and murder. They may make the decision to kill if they or their loved ones are death matched, but it will still be a hard decision to make and will effect them psychologically. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Mute
Your character is mute and thus incapable of speaking. Even if this flaw is not taken upon character creation, it may be taken if the character becomes permanently mute on site.

Noncombatant
Your character is not a fighter, and as such they do not have the ability or knowledge to pull off a full dodge in a spar. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Scatterbrained
Characters with this flaw have a really bad memory. Unless the events were truly meaningful to them, they will forget the finer details. They will, also, have a bad time remembering names; unless they talked to a certain animal in 3+ threads, they will most likely forget what hey are called. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Slow
Your character is slower by one body type. Average characters are now as slow as bulky characters. Slender characters are now as slow as average characters. Bulky characters are slower by 5 mph. Please refer to this page for more exact numbers. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.

Truthful
Your character has a really hard time lying. Unless they believe their lies is what truly happened, they will rarely manage to convince others of their lies. They also have trouble showing false emotions. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.
Unitongue
Your character is far from being a linguist. Something about foreign languages is just too hard! Thus, they can only know one language (their native one) and will not be competent enough to learn another without magical aid. This flaw should be taken upon character creation.
