Perses noted it was unusually cold for fall and there was already snow on the ground. After his daily patrol, the beast decided to explore and came across a desert with sand so white he almost thought it was snow. But it wasn't. Though, it was unusually cold.

The beast walked and explored until he came across the ocean. If the land was cold, he guessed the water would be colder. He stopped six feet away.

The beast decided to try out some magic. Maybe he might discover something new. He focused on the water, trying to make something happen. He wasn't sure if it was going to work.

Wave activated for the first time, however it was weak. The wave was only a foot high but it happened . He smiled in satisfaction.

And then Dart activated for the first time and it shot towards the water. The shock caused Skitter to activate for the first time but it died out moments after it activated as it was his first time using it. He was happy to see he had more magic to learn. He wondered if he could learn it all.

The beast continued his walk as it was getting cold.
