Secrets of nature [Bastille, Celine]

The young cheetah woman was settling quite well with her place as a slave in the Julianna empire. She was obedient, respectful, and aimed to please her superiors at all times. Most others would hate being a slave, but she didn't. She actually liked the place she was given in the empire, and she would hold her rank as a slave with pride. Her master seemed to be a cold creature, but that simply did not matter to the woman. She was a slave, and he was her superior. Yet, there was a slight problem Zuthrala had recently found out she had. Her belly was beginning to swell, and she noticed it was getting larger as time went on. She knew she wasn't overeating, so there was only one explanation for this. Zuthrala was expecting her master's children. A worrying feeling overcame her, not sure how her master would react to this. Yet, no matter what, Zuthrala would love and care for the children she carried. She hadn't given birth to them, but she loved them nonetheless. They were her children, and the first ones she would ever have. She feared for their safety, simply because she didn't know if her master would approve of what he created. No matter, for she was their mother, and she would protect them as best she could. She walked in the territory, kinda getting used to the extra weight she was carrying, as she kept herself away from the borders of the empire. Only foolish slaves would dare step near the borders, which would hint to the superiors of the empire of escape. Zuthrala was smarter than this, and refused to disrespect her superiors, and the laws laid out for her.

Gold and orange eyes eyes looked around, as they suddenly fell on a nursing mother not too far away. Zuthrala was about to keep moving, then noticed that she had the same scar she had on her left shoulder. She decided to take a chance to meet her. After all, the cheetah would be experiencing motherhood soon. She approached carefully as not to scare the tigress, but was careful not to get too close. As she spoke, her elegant British accent could clearly be heard. "Hello, my name is Zuthrala Dawton. Are you a slave here too ?" Zuthrala held respect for the mother, simply wanting to make conversation. "My master is a lion with a grey mane, green eyes, and brown fur. I have not seen him in some time though."Simply giving a description was best, for she was not to speak the name of her superiors. Zuthrala didn't even know her master's name either. She sat down to get comfortable, looking at the two little ones near her stomach. How wonderful life was, it was a gift.

RE: Secrets of nature [Bastille, Celine]

Celine had been busy nursing her children. It was kind of funny... she felt as if the two little bundles were suckling the life out of her. However, the woman was willing to give up her time and energy for her two loves. They were growing so much. The woman already wished she could keep them this small forever.

The tigress leaned down to give both her children a gentle lick of affection. She still recalled when Bastille had done a similar move, and it truly warmed her heart. The female didn't see him as a total monster now. Perhaps there was some sort of good in him.

Ears flattened against her skull as a voice suddenly rang out. Full name. Obvious answer to a question. Then a description. Celine would be polite, though. The woman was not stupid. She knew the cheetah was talking about Bastille. Master. The worked irked the golden tiger. It was such a horrid word in her opinion. She had never called Bastille that, and didn't plan to anyway. Green and blue orbs watched as the stranger looked down at her children. The large female slowly curled closer to her children. What did this woman want? Celine had the right to be suspicious... being a new mother and all.

It didn't surprise her that Bastille had taken up another female. Celine didn't care. She had no romantic feelings towards the brute. However, it did kind of bother her that this lady seemed so willing to call Bastille 'master' and talk about him so freely. Celine nodded slowly. It wasn't her place to give Bastille's name. He had given it to her because reasons. Maybe he didn't want this lanky feline to know his name. Celine also didn't want to say she was a slave out loud. Her pride wouldn't allow her to.

The woman raised her head, showing that she held herself high and wouldn't crumble beneath her new title and duties. She looked over the cheetah. Already pregnant... typical. "Celine Colette," she replied almost as if she were a queen.

RE: Secrets of nature [Bastille, Celine]

The young woman noticed how the mother curled closer to her children, so she decided it would be smart to back off a distance from them. Zuthrala would feel exactly the same way if a stranger approached her and her young. Perhaps it was the excitement of being a new mother that she forgot boundaries. Yet, the fear of her master finding out of her condition, swallowed most of the excitement. Nonetheless, she focused on the positives. She saw the light in every situation. Though she may have been a slave, she was different in that aspect. Most creatures would not like being considered slaves. But, Zuthrala owned the fact that she was a slave. She held the rank with pride, and she knows where she stands. Those who tested their superiors, or even attempted escape, were fools. She aimed to follow the rule she was put under, and please those who were above her. But, she may have been a slave, she held herself as the glorious Dawton she was, and could never be brought down emotionally. She knew her self worth, and that would never change.

"If you don't mind me asking, what are their names?" Her voice was as smooth as a mermaid gracefully swimming in the sea. The feline hoped to simply get acquainted with the woman, but would take her leave if she didn't feel like speaking. After all, it seemed she had her paws filled already.

RE: Secrets of nature [Bastille, Celine]

Bastille Julien

I'm not a savior. I'm an executioner.

Bastille had been content to watch his babes from a distance, hulking form relaxed upon his side with half-lidded mossy greens observing them. Gunmetal shifted and swayed in the wind, neatly groomed as his tail leisurely flicked. The strong urge to maim was still apparent in his system, yet easily smothered and mistaken for a typical need. It was well within his nature, after all. But he didn't give in, instead only feigning sleep and keeping careful watch over those he considered his. When another recognizable figure approached, he righted himself with a quiet huff before rising to his feet. It wasn't wise to allow the slaves to converse for long on their own, lest they get foolish ideas within their heads.

He didn't miss how Celine curled closer to his brood as well, prompting protective paternal instincts to somewhat kick in. Rather than seek to protect them all, he only sought his blood's wellbeing.

Rounded ears, pricked to hear the conversation, caught the tail end of it. Aiming to approach from behind Zuthrala, he'd raise a brow as drawling tones would roughly answer. Hackles would stiffen only slightly, seeking to exert his dominance among the other two as his claws dug into the mossy earth to help his balance.

"Marguerite and Esprit Julien, but you will know them as your superiors and address them as such." Because Bastille wasn't going to let his children grow up thinking it was right to be addressed by name by lessers.

RE: Secrets of nature [Bastille, Celine]

Rounded ears turned forward as the small woman asked for her children's names. Celine honestly didn't know how to handle this situation. It seemed to be moving too quickly, or maybe the tigress just wished for her cubs to not grow. She wanted them to stay tiny and innocent forever. However, the large feline understood that there would be a day where she could no longer cradle them or make their decisions.

It was then that the father came barging in. Ears folded back at his rudeness. Excuse him! They were not just Juliens. They were also Colletes. Would the brute care? No. That was why her mouth stayed shut. However, bi-color eyes looked up at him, slightly narrowed, but not too much. She hoped it wouldnt make him want to harm her or the children. However, Celine's pride still wanted to convey a message that she and the lion should have a talk later about this whole title thing. Her children would not be superior to her. They were hers. If anything, they will be equal, but still listen to her commands, which would be out of love. Celine would address them in loving names, not as generals or princessess.

RE: Secrets of nature [Bastille, Celine]

Zuthrala turned around as she heard her master's voice from behind her. It was obvious from the way he spoke and the introduction of names, that the two little cubs were his children. She completely understood and accepted the fact that the two little ones were her superiors, and ranked above her. It was understandable, especailly considering the fact she was a slave after all. It didn't take long for her to figure out that her master's last name was most likely Julien, considering those two were his kids. It gave her a little hope that maybe her pregnancy was acceptable to him, but she didn't count on it completely though. "Yes sir." She answered respectfully with her elegant British accent. She had learned it was better to obey, rather than act foolish and test the waters of the superiors who lived here. It was common sense actually. Another thought popped in her head. Was this his slave? It had to be, especially since these were most likely his children. If this was the case, it would be best for Celine and her to get along with each other. The tigress seemed respectable in her eyes, even though this was their first meeting. A friend would help keep Zuthrala from being bored, and she could have someone to talk to.

Bastille Julien

I'm not a savior. I'm an executioner.

The cheetah's compliance appeased the man, thus leaving him to move his attention towards Celine with a raised brow. Viridians wouldn't stay upon her form for long, however, before he moved his attention to the babes. Words were no longer offered for he had nothing to say, tawny pillars seeking to carry him closer to his brood before haunches would fold until he was reclining. Hackles stayed stiff, ears pricked with blatant intrigue as he observed the babes. Behind him, his tail would flick with gentle content. Yes, Bastille cared little for the mothers of his babes.

Said babes, however, were not unloved.

Though his attention was seemingly entrapped by his children, the man was no idiot. He kept a careful ear, seeking to listen for the slightest hints of treachery in their voices. The urge to maim was still apparent, though smothered and largely ignored, and he practically wished for them to make some sort of slip-up that'd justify the actions he'd end up taking in order to sate his own wishes. Of course, engaging in such activities around his fragile spawn would be unwise.

It was one of the reasons why he hadn't done it yet.
