Welcome Guest,
Pardon our ads; they're necessary to keep this lovely site running. Thank you for your understanding! Many sites boast a wonderful memberbase, but here at Yavania we pride ourselves on our community. We work hard to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making sure every member and guest is greeted and included in the fun, both OC and IC. Our staff is active, friendly, and always available. Each season we have a lot of fun OC activities that give our players fun/generous rewards, such as raffles, word searches, and crosswords. IC we have many festivals and site-wide events. Check out our Overview Guide and Character Creation (listed to the right) to see what we offer! You can make a vast spectrum of creatures, including but not limited to wolves, tigers, panda bears, leopards, African wild dogs, clouded leopards, ball pythons, and eagles! If the magic system seems overwhelming, don't worry. You do not have to build a character with magic. If you want to, however, we're available to help! Just drop into cbox. ♥

HEALTH

Health
Health is important when it comes to spars (as well as roleplaying). If your character has poor health, he or she won't be in peak fighting condition. Use the following to judge what health your character is in:

Excellent Health
Your character qualifies for excellent health if they meet the following requirements:
  • They are in great physical health and have no new moderate or severe injuries, such as lacerations, broken bones, or concussions. They may have few light injuries, so long as they do not hinder the character.
  • They live in a realm/faction, just left their realm/faction in the previous thread, or they just entered Yavania (this is their first thread on site).
  • They do not have a healed injury that hinders/restricts their movements, such as bones that were not set properly in the arms, legs, or wings. This also includes missing limbs, as they will never be as quick or as agile.
  • They do not suffer from an untreated mental disorder. Please note that Clinical Depression counts as a mental illness.
Good Health
Your character qualifies for good health if they meet the following requirements:
  • They are a rogue but haven't been on their own for more than two seasons.
  • They have a recent light injury, such as a cut or scrape, that is less than 3 IC says old (unless it was healed with magic).
  • If your character is blind and a rogue, they cannot be this health without the aid of a traveling companion that says (in their narrative) that they're tending to your character's needs.
  • They are living in a realm but have a healed injury that hinders/restricts their movements, such as bones that were not set properly in the arms, legs, or wings. This also includes missing limbs, as they will never be as quick or as agile.
  • If your character suffers from an untreated mental disorder that doesn't hinder their ability to care for their basic needs, such as eating and sleeping. Please note that Clinical Depression counts as a mental illness.
Fair Health
Your character qualifies for fair health if they meet the following requirements:
  • They are a rogue and have been on their own for more than two seasons.
  • They have a recent moderate injury, such as a laceration, such as a venomous bite/sting, or sprained ankle, that is less than 4 IC says old (unless it was healed with magic). Please note that the Hunt/Forage guide specifies which venomous bites/strings are which.
  • If your character is blind, is a rogue, and has no traveling companion that says (in their narrative) that they're tending to your character's needs.
  • They are a rogue and have a healed injury that hinders/restricts their movements, such as bones that were not set properly in the arms, legs, or wings. This also includes missing limbs, as they will never be as quick or as agile.
Poor Health
Your character qualifies for poor health if they meet the following requirements:
  • They have a recent severe injury, such as being blinded, a venomous bite/sting, broken bones, or a concussion that is less than 5 IC weeks old (unless it was healed with magic). Please note that the Hunt/Forage guide specifies which venomous bites/strings are which.
  • If your character suffers from an untreated mental disorder that hinders their ability to care for their basic needs, such as eating and sleeping. Please note that Clinical Depression counts as a mental illness.
